Come and learn about glazing and decorating !

 

For 2.5 hours, discover how to embellish and personalize your ceramic. This workshop offers an exploration of the different decorating techniques available at the studio: engobes, glazes, oxide washes… You will learn to understand their specific characteristics, the effects they produce, as well as the correct techniques and timing for applying them.

 

You will also have access to the workshop's unique glazes , developed by me, with sober and natural hues, in keeping with my world.

 

The program will introduce you to:

• Glazing and brush decoration

• Dipping glaze

• Pouring glaze

• Layering glaze to create unique effects

• Wax resist (play of glossy/matte contrast)

 

To participate:

Have 3 to 4 bisque-fired pieces (having undergone a first firing) made during pottery classes or workshops.

 

Objective: develop your creativity

Beyond the technical aspects, this workshop is a time for experimentation to dare, test combinations and assert your style through decor!
