As the holidays approach, come create your own ceramic tealight holder inspired by little Christmas houses. During this workshop, you will handcraft a stoneware house. Windows, doors, chimney, textures, decorations, or architectural details: everyone can imagine and personalize their creation according to their own style. Once illuminated by an LED candle or a small light source, your candle holder will diffuse a soft light through the openings you have created. • Discover slab building This workshop is an excellent opportunity to discover ceramic construction techniques using slabs of clay. You will learn to assemble the different parts of your little house, work with volumes, and design the openings that will let the light through. • A unique decorative object for the holidays Each participant will leave with a completely personalized piece, designed to complement winter decorations year after year. Minimalist, traditional, inspired by a chalet, or an imaginary house, your creation will be unique. • Firing and Finishing After the workshop, the candle holders will remain at the studio for drying, firing, and glazing. You can choose from a selection of glazes to finalize your piece. Once completed, it will be ready to brighten your home during the holidays. • Who is it for? This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those with prior ceramic experience. No prior experience is necessary, just the desire to create and take the time to shape an object with your own hands. Workshop suitable for ages 12 and up.
